Hey there, pawsome people! 🐾 My name is Moonshine, my pronouns are he, him and his, I am 2 and half years and an alumni of No Dogs Left Behind!
I'm not just your average CEO at Floppy Ears Treats Co. - oh no! I also hold the prestigious title of Head Taste Tester.
With my keen sense of smell and discerning palate, I ensure that every treat that leaves our cozy kitchen is nothing short of tail-waggin' perfection. Whether it's our scrumptious Barkin’ OG (named after my talking habits, thank you very much), or our drool-worthy Banana Bread (made with my favorite stuff!!), you can bet I've put my paw stamp of approval on each and every batch (otherwise, it’s a no go!).
When I'm not busy barking out orders or sampling our pawsome creations, you can find me chasing squirrels (oh yes, I love those!) on long walks, cozying up for a nap, or exploring the Twin Cities from breweries to parks, lakes to parkways. I enjoy meeting new friends (both furry and human) and soaking up all the attention! Seriously, I am very adorable!
When I am up for it, you can probably find me striking a pose for the camera, I am told this comes with being too cute. I do a bit of modeling for FET, which basically means endless photoshoots, Instagram posts, and perfecting my cute and photogenic look. But don't let my cuteness fool you - when it comes to Floppy Ears Treats Co., I take my job very seriously.

Hey there, all you pawsome people! 🐾 My name is Tiya (pronounced like Tia), my pronouns are she, her, and hers. Just like our Head Taste Tester, the one and only Moonshine, I approach my role with a serious dose of fun and love!
My journey into the world of dog treats started with a simple idea and a whole lot of grit!!! Combining my passion for dogs and my culinary skills (trust me, my human dishes are top-notch drooling too!), I set up our dope little dog treats company right here in Minneapolis, MN. The mission was crystal clear from day one - to whip up tasty, wholesome, and freshly baked goodies for your furry pals and mine. Each treat that comes out of our oven is crafted with a sprinkle of love, fresh ingredients and baked to furry pawfection.
From brainstorming mouthwatering recipes to ensuring top-notch quality, I oversee every step of the creative process at Floppy Ears Treats Co. with Moonshine's expert taste testing and approval, of course!
When I'm not busy dreaming up delightful dog treats or cooking up a storm with a glass of red wine (feel free to tip in red wine:) in hand, you can find me strolling through parks, checking out breweries, exploring local & national gems, diving into the beauty of MN’s 10,000 lakes, neighborhoods, and parkways. Beyond being the It Girl behind our treats, I fulfill my career as a Social Worker & Director of a nonprofit organization, questioning the criminal justice system, all while importantly embracing my black excellence, and smashing barriers every single day being a staunch feminist.

I am the mastermind behind our woof-tastic operations as the Chief Operating Officer and Community Engagement Director here at Floppy Ears Treats Co.! My pawn-tastic communication skills, love for pups, enjoyment of human connection, eclectic knowledge of local craft breweries, and deep love for Minnesota have driven me to explore the world of being a local business owner.
When I'm not busy engaging with local businesses, spreading the word about Floppy Ears Treats Co. to my fellow Minnesotans, being a super cool dad, enjoying a cold one from a local craft brewery, camping locally & nationally, baking crispy pizzas for my partner, savoring authentic tacos, or daring my taste buds with spicy foods, you can find me dedicating my time to reforming the criminal justice system.
